Confidentiality
Everything you share is confidential within clear, ethical boundaries. I may need to break confidentiality if there is a concern about immediate risk or safety.
Scope of service
The Safe Space offers supportive, psychologically informed conversation. It is not therapy, counselling, crisis support, or clinical intervention.
Cancellations
You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your session. Sessions cancelled less than 24 hours before appointment will NOT be refunded.
Crisis support
I cannot offer crisis support. If you feel unsafe or overwhelmed, please reach out to someone you trust or a local support service.
Boundaries
Sessions are 20 minutes and take place within the scheduled time. Communication outside sessions is limited to booking and practical queries.

Is this therapy?
No. The Safe Space is not therapy or counselling. It’s a supportive, psychologically informed conversation held by someone trained to offer calm, grounded emotional support.
What happens in a session?
We chat. You share whatever feels heavy or important, and I hold the space with warmth, steadiness, and gentle reflection.
What if I get upset?
It’s completely okay. You won’t be rushed or judged.
Do I need to know what to say?
Not at all. Many people arrive unsure where to start.
Can I come regularly?
Yes. Some people come once, others come weekly or monthly.
Is it confidential?
Yes, within clear boundaries. These are explained in the Policies section.
What if I need more support?
If it becomes clear that you might benefit from therapy or another form of support, I’ll gently encourage you to explore options that feel right for you.
Can you help in a crisis?
No. The Safe Space is not a crisis service.
